Wanda McEntyre, PhD, ABPP is the Training Director for the Post-doctoral Fellowship in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Division of Rehabilitation Psychology. She is a board certified rehabilitation psychologist and an Assistant Professor-Clinical in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University. Since October 2010, Dr. McEntyre has served as the Chair of the Ohio Psychological Association’s Diversity Committee.
Dr. McEntyre received her doctoral degree in counseling psychology at The Ohio State University and she completed her internship and post-doctoral training at the N. Chicago VA. Before joining the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 1990, she worked for the Industrial Commission, Rehabilitation Division.
Dr. McEntyre’s clinical interests include assessment and cognitive–behavioral treatment of adults with chronic pain, post-concussive syndrome, mood disorders, chronic disabling medical conditions and emotional adjustment to illness and disability. She also facilitates several support groups including a Stroke Support Group for survivors and their spouse, a Brain Injury Support Group and a Spouses of TBI Survivors Support Group.
